"Well first of all about the meeting, I'm convinced that it is a defining moment for fundamentalism for America... We are going to see coming out of this meeting the greatest thrust for evangelism out of the 20th century and this part of the 21st. I think it will be the greatest thing we have had among the Independent Baptists." - Pastor Raymond Barbers, Worth Baptist Church, Fortworth, TX

"Thank you Brother Clarence. I count it a real honor, I mean that, to be here much less preaching. I love preachers and the spirit of this meeting here." - Pastor Bobby Roberson, Gospel Light Baptist Church, Walkertown, NC

"Pray that God will send forth laborers into the harvest and that God will open the windows of heaven and bless people who will be faithful stewards who will support us. There are people all over the world who will get saved if we can get the labor and the wealth to send them." - Pastor Tom Sexton, Gulf Coast Baptist Church, Cape Coral, FL

"Our church is involved in many efforts. We are sending a young man to Japan this year and we are excited about that.
We are extremely burdened to plant churches here in America. We have set a goal to plant ten churches in ten years. Young men come to our institute, we train them, they serve with us as interns for two years; then we send them out to plant a church." - Pastor Mike Edwards, Heritage Baptist Church, Woodbridge, VA

Highlights from Sunday, April 11
"I would like to see people become burdened to spread the gospel around the world - World Evangelism. The truth will do that and our fellowship here is going to encourage one another in that very thing. We are looking forward to this great meeting." - Evangelist Larry Clayton, Salvation Evangelistic Association, Cleveland, OH
