An Independent Baptist Friends International meeting was held on Monday and Tuesday, September 26-27, 2011 at the historic First Baptist Church of Providence, Rhode Island. This meeting was a help to so many people who attended and who live-streamed the services online.
Pastor Clarence Sexton of the Temple Baptist Church and Crown College of the Bible in Powell, Tennessee spoke on the subjects of "Becoming a First-Century Church", "A Revolution Back to the BIble" and "Why I am a Baptist." Baptist historian and First Baptist Church currator Dr. J. Stanley Lemons spoke in two sessions on Baptist History.
